At Little Woods, each and every child enjoys a nurturing, caring, gentle, safe, fun and stimulating environment especially designed for learning and fostering early on in their young lives a leadership mindset.
Little Woods Montessori is a kindergarten that offers an excellent 5-year programme giving children a solid foundation for entry into Primary 1, Grade 1 or Year 1. We have an international and local enrollment and are licensed by the Early Childhood Development Agency.
We are a small, exclusive, boutique and centrally located pre-school offering a bespoke Montessori education with a highly experienced, committed and passionate teaching staff.

Hafsa Fathah, Little Woods’ Principal, has 35 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Certified with the prestigious AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) qualification, she maintains a high standard of Montessori education for the children at Little Woods.

The classroom environment is prepared with a wealth of special materials and resources designed to stimulate the curiosity and challenge the intellect of each child. Children are encouraged to find and explore the connections between the abstract and the concrete, the link between home and school and between the life of the mind and the outside world.

We follow the Singapore school year stipulated by the Ministry of Education.
School Term Period 2026
Term 1: 2nd January – 13th March
Term 2: 23th March – 29th May
Term 3: 29th June – 4th September
Term 4: 14th September – 20th November
Age Groups
18 months – 3 years old
3 – 4 years old
4 – 5 years old
5 – 6 years old
Programme Timings
Morning: 8am – 11.30am
Mid-Morning: 11.30am – 3pm
Double: 8am – 1.30pm
Extended: 8am – 2.30pm

Our strength is in our continuity. With the same founder director, low staff turnover and a single location, we are proud to have alumni who have joined top international and local schools and proceeded to top ranked universities in Singapore, UK, USA, Australia, Canada and Europe.
Our strength is also our size. We have not franchised or expanded to ensure that children who attend Little Woods Montessori receive the highest quality pre-school experience in a wholly unique environment. We have an outstanding heritage.

We do not impart knowledge; rather we create the tools for children to discover.
