Little Woods Montessori was established in 1998.
Our strength is in our continuity. With low staff turnover and a single location, we are proud to have alumni who have joined top international and local schools and proceeded to top ranked universities in Singapore, UK, USA, Australia, Canada and Europe.
Our strength is also our size. We have not franchised or expanded to ensure that children who attend Little Woods Montessori receive the highest quality pre-school experience in a wholly unique environment. We have an outstanding heritage.
We believe in Discovery
At Little Woods Montessori, the class, curriculum and environment are tailored to a child’s growth.
We do not impart knowledge; rather we create the tools for children to discover. It is through discovery that they learn the joy of continued learning through their primary, secondary and even graduate years. The primary purpose of the Montessori method is developing children cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally to be independent thinkers and self-directed leaders.

Our Team
Isabel Seery
Founder
Mrs. Isabel Angela Seery received her Diploma in Montessori (1995), Diploma in Pre-School and Leadership (2003), and BA in Childhood & Family Education from Edith Cowan University, Australia (2006).
Teaching was Isabel’s calling. While raising two children, she pursued her dream and attained her Early Childhood education qualification and brought her vision to life when she founded Little Woods Montessori. With over 30 years of experience in the Singapore and International School systems, Isabel had designed a diversified curriculum that is able to meet the needs and challenges of both school systems.
Hafsa Fathah
Director & Principal
Mrs. Hafsa Fathah received her Diploma in Montessori from the prestigious Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) in 1991, Early Childhood Education Care and Education – Teaching (2011), Early Childhood Care and Education – Leadership (2013), and Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from Monash University.
Hafsa has 35 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Certified with the prestigious AMI qualification, she maintains a high standard of Montessori education for the children at Little Woods.
Hafsa is passionate about the development of children in today’s world. As the Montessori philosophy not only encompasses the child, Hafsa is driven to collaborate with parents, children, teachers and the community to optimize a holistic education for each child.
This has contributed to the reputation of Little Woods children. At completion of their 5 years with us, they are known for being gracious, responsible, respectful and well-informed members of the community.
